Francisco Roig is a winemaker in Samaipata, where he co-founded a boutique winery—Uvairenda—thatis particularly renowned for its Tannat, as well as the high-altitude 1750 wines. It is a small-scale production, but one that is beginning to find a market in the United States, as well as in France and Luxembourg. The Vino Mundo team had the opportunity to meet this passionate and fascinating winemaker at the most recentProwein 2018 trade show.
